As we reported yesterday, star Seth Rogen was on hand at Comic-Con in San Diego yesterday to unveil the coolest prop from his upcoming movie The Green Hornet. Joining him on the floor of the San Diego Convention Center was co-writer Evan Goldberg (Superbad) and director Michel Gondry (Be Kind Rewind). The trio unveiled “The Black Beauty,” the car that will carry The Green Hornet and his sidekick Kato to the places where they will kick the asses of bad guys.

In support of their presence at the event, Columbia Pictures have sent over the film’s official synopsis and some photos from the floor of Comic-Con. Both can be seen below.

A classic character of film, television, radio, and comic books returns to the big screen in Columbia Pictures’ feature film The Green Hornet, starring Seth Rogen as the vigilante crime-fighter. The film will be directed by Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) from a screenplay written by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg (Superbad, Pineapple Express), based upon “The Green Hornet” radio series created by George W. Trendle, and produced by Neal H. Moritz (The Fast and the Furious). The film is slated for release summer 2010.
