Love that picture. It's hilarious. I did my own independent research. My first impression is the series seems extremely detailed. I wonder if the writer took his own life, smoked a lot of weed, and turned it into a comic. I agree with Edgar Wright, two words doesn't describe the plot. Good luck making the flick, Ed. The movie looks targeted at kids who grew up in the late 80's/early 90's that remember the old NES video games. River City Ransom, nice name drop.

Minus the super-powers, I can relate to the Pilgrim character. He sounds like he's got ADD. I'm sold on the Ramona character. A girl who changes her hairstyle a lot sounds familiar to me at least. I'm just suspicious of the quality of the original comic. It's only 4 years old and its #89 out of 200 Best Comic Characters of All-Time as listed by Wizard. As Vincent Vega would say, "It better be a good fricken milkshake."

The huge popularity comes out of nowhere. I can see why Universal is fast-tracking the story what with Michael Cera, Juno, and real stories bringing teens back to the movies.
