Schwarzenegger Confused By Terminator 4 Preview

And you were starting to think that Terminator: Salvation might not suck.
After previewing some footage of the film courtesy of the its producers, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was left scratching his head to The LA Times; “I still don’t know how it will play out with this one.”
Terminator: Salvation, the fourth installment of the Terminator franchise, is to be the first one not featuring Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. When fans heard this, along with the announcement of the “Charlie’s Angels-guy” as the director and rumors of a “PG-13” rating (all of the previous Terminator films have been rated “R”), they were reasonably miffed. But after the enthusiastic proclamation of Christian Bale as protagonist John Connor and the inimitable Jonathan Nolan as a writer, as well as the introduction of an intriguing trailer before The Dark Knight and new footage at the the San Diego Comic-Con panel, fans started to warm to the prospect of a McG-directed Terminator film.
However, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has been relatively absent from the big-screen due to his new gig as a bureaucrat, was unimpressed with the previewed clips. “They showed me some footage, but I don’t have a feel for the movie. I didn’t see enough. I wasn’t sure who the Terminator was. I don’t know if there is one or if he’s the star or the hero. These are the things that determine the success and how the strong the movie will be.”
Time will tell whether or not the eminent Governor’s comments will influence fans. I for one, remain uninfluenced. That Comic-Con footage was palpable.
