Say Hello to The Fallen from ‘Transformers 2′
Movie News By Neil Miller on May 30, 2009 | (14) Comments
The folks at MTV have released a brand new photo from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen that finally gives us a clear look at the film’s main villain, The Fallen. This dastardly walking robot is said to be the evil emperor to Megatron’s Darth Vader.
The network will air some brand new footage from Michael Bay’s upcoming robot opus during the broadcast of the MTV Movie Awards tomorrow night, where stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox will also appear. In describing this nasty character to MTV, LaBeouf gives us a little perspective on just how evil The Fallen is:
“Basically, the Fallen is to them what cavemen, Neanderthals were to us,” LaBeouf revealed. “He’s the ancestor, the first version of this exoskeleton. He’s the first version of this sentient being. That’s what he is. He’s the origins of what they came from.”
Ever since we were told that The Fallen would be part of the Decepticon party more than a year ago, Transformers fans of old have been very excited. He is, without a doubt, the perfect villain from the Transformers universe to up the ante in Bay’s sequel. And as you can see from the image above, he looks like a badass. Stick around tomorrow night, as we will be sure to post the new footage as soon as it appears online, which shouldn’t be too long after the Movie Awards air.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hits theaters June 24, 2009.
