The folks at MTV have released a brand new photo from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen that finally gives us a clear look at the film’s main villain, The Fallen. This dastardly walking robot is said to be the evil emperor to Megatron’s Darth Vader.

The network will air some brand new footage from Michael Bay’s upcoming robot opus during the broadcast of the MTV Movie Awards tomorrow night, where stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox will also appear. In describing this nasty character to MTV, LaBeouf gives us a little perspective on just how evil The Fallen is:

“Basically, the Fallen is to them what cavemen, Neanderthals were to us,” LaBeouf revealed. “He’s the ancestor, the first version of this exoskeleton. He’s the first version of this sentient being. That’s what he is. He’s the origins of what they came from.”

Ever since we were told that The Fallen would be part of the Decepticon party more than a year ago, Transformers fans of old have been very excited. He is, without a doubt, the perfect villain from the Transformers universe to up the ante in Bay’s sequel. And as you can see from the image above, he looks like a badass. Stick around tomorrow night, as we will be sure to post the new footage as soon as it appears online, which shouldn’t be too long after the Movie Awards air.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hits theaters June 24, 2009.

I am guessing either Transformers 2 or Harry Potter and the half blood Prine will make the highest gross of 2009.

Avatar perhaps. I'm not sure why that's not getting a summer release though, december seems like an odd choice IMO.

I agree that Avatar would be a great movie but I doubt if it be able to make as much money as Transformers 2 or HP 6
  • Where is the canon for the Fallen? I don't ever remember seeing or reading any of this in the comics or the TV series.

I am gonna watch this movie cuz of Michael Bay's direction (never disappointed me) and the amazing effects.

lol....I don't understand why so many people would watch the movie just to see a girl. If you are really going to watch this movie just for Megan Fox then you should see all the following movies as well.

    Fathom
    Passion Plays (2010) (announced) (rumored)
    The Crossing (2011) (pre-production)
    Ironclad (2009) (pre-production) (rumored)
Jonah Hex (2010) (filming) .... Leila
    Jennifer's Body (2009) (post-production) .... Jennifer Check
    Whore (2008/I) .... Lost
How to Lose Friends & Alienate People (2008) .... Sophie Maes

And you should not have missed any of her previous appearances on TV or in movies. Check out what you missed with Megan Fox at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1083271/

Time to buy or download everything you missed :D
So, no matter how crappy the movie or the show is you will watch it for Megan Fox ? :p
