what i was going to say was, why does being american mean you’re immediately more qualified to talk about anything gangs-related? its a wee bit patronising. did you yourself grow up in the area of l.a. you talk about? why do i doubt it?

seeing as you’re not going to bother looking into the film you’re reporting about i’ll do it for you: the film cherrybomb’s actually about northern ireland. which, if you’ve ever seen the news, you will know is a fairly ‘badass’ place. and not in a phoney hookers-and-drugs cliche way. more of a bombs and shootings and being targetted for your religious and political beliefs kind of way. which i think is probably a fairly admirable role for the lad to ake on. so, with all due respect stf eh. thankyou.
