Not only terrible, but I think any bit of what made Venom a fan favorite (big ass evil monster) was stripped from the character when they tried to make him just evil emo spiderman. The Sandman should've been the focus of the movie; Venom and Harry Osborne should have hit the cutting room floor, as they made the movie utterly unwatchable. He wanted to use more classic villains like the Sandman, but he kept hearing from the studio that fans wanted to see Venom.
