I was searching through my old music collection a couple of days ago. I came upon "Rhythm of the Night" by DeBarge. It brought back sweet memories of one of the most memorable movies I have ever seen, that being "The Last Dragon" and, of course, the first thing I thought of was, "Who's the master? Sho'Nuf!". I dug out my old VHS copy and watched the whole movie that night. I brough it over to my brother's house the next night and watched it again. Today, when at work, I had to look up the movie on IMDB and looked up Julius Carry. How sad was the news that I read! It brought a tear to my eye reading the article.

RIP Mr. Carry, you will always have a place in my heart as one of the most profound movie experiences of my life!
God bless.

It's kinda sad when you start to check on a movie actor, only to find he has recently died. Mr. Carry was a new personality to me. I've been enjoying his Lord Bowler character as I watch the Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. on NetFlix. So I check on IMDB to learn more about him, and see that he died last week. What a shocker. It's even more of a shocker when I see he was just a year younger than I am. So Rest In Peace Mr. Julius Carry.

We have witness some tragic times this month. Another actor leaves us, Julius Carry a was terrific actor who played some good roles, but none badder than the Shogun of Harlem, He really woke up audiences around the world with this character and a young generation that was eager for something of that caliber. That movie grossed so much world wide at that time, he had every house saying -whose the master- . I think a lot of entertainers get their swagger from that character today. Thank You Mr. Carry Be at peace my BROTHER.

This is a sad day, when a actor such as this has left us. When I heard it I thought that my friend was kidding, but later I found it to be true. As a kid I remember my cousin and my bother sitting me down in front of the t.v. watching this great movie amaze of the character Leroy Green which Taimak played a terrific role, cause at that time we didn't have any black action heroes are a real good black villain. When Sho'nuff came through those theater doors he own my attention. From that point on I was a movie fan and I based all my villains off him. THANK YOU so much Mr. Julius Carry for inspiriting me to be the movie writer I am today, for the life you gave that character I devote my time to my craft. THANK YOU and to many others. You will be miss "Now who's the master" -Julius Carry

Glad you covered this story as TMZ did a terrible and nasty job of covering this, they were very disrespectful to Julius and his family.

I am watching "The Last Dragon" right now, and he is still by far the best cult villain ever!

RIP Julius!
