The upcoming Robert De Niro/Al Pacino thriller, Righteous Kill, has a new redband trailer.  Watch it below and then see if you agree with some assumptions about the movie.

So what can we assume about Righteous Kill from this new trailer?

**Warning — This May Contain Spoilers. That is, if we are right… We have not yet seen the film. At this point we are just guessing.**

1) De Niro may succeed in beating his own long standing record (Casino) for ”fuck” utterances and derivations.  2) Carla Gugino gets naked. Again.  3) Director Jon Avnet and Pacino may have redeemed themselves for the travesty that was 88 Minutes.  4) Brian Dennehy is still alive.  5) Pacino is the vigilante killer and De Niro will have to shoot him in the end. This would of course make them even for Heat.

Does the new trailer make you more or less inclined to see Righteous Kill?

  • Trailer looks good. Like you said, 88 Minutes was a complete travesty, and it was because of that that I was afriaid of Righteous Kill. This trailer has managed to give me some hope, though, so I guess time will tell.

I would be pretty hard for Avnet to screw up the pairing of De Niro and Pacino, wouldn't it?

that trailer made me much more excited about this movie even though all that was new was the addition of "fuck". still, very exciting the way De Niro curses.

Well, the film was written by the guy who wrote "Inside Man", so it may be good.

I gree of 4 out of the 5 assumptions. I doubt is gona be Pachino alone doing the shootingsm its both Pachino and De Niro working together the line: Pachino- "what ever happens..." De Niro-: " I am not taking you down with me" pritty much says it.
  • Looks like a good movie

I don't care what anyone says this is going to be amazing. They do say Fuck a whole lot even in the trailer though. This was more curse words than Digitalfuntown.com and that's hard to top.

I will go and see it simply for the fact that these two men are icons and history makers in the movie business.
