Hot girls and killer music. Other than the uber-coolness, the spy gadgets, and the pithy one-liners calmly spoken right before karate chopping a goon in the neck, the Bond franchise is known for propelling gorgeous women to the forefront of the American mindset and for taking slightly lesser known women and making them dance in silhouette to a hot new title track.

We’ve been baffled by a lot of things surrounding Quantum of Solace. Alright, really we’ve only been confused by the name, but now at least we know who’ll be penning the new track that greased-up models will be dancing in front of floodlights to.

According to MTV Movies Blog (where else would we go for music news?), Jack White of The White Stripes and The Raconteurs and groundbreaking blues songstress Alicia Keys have landed the job that Amy Winehouse was too snorted up to do.

Will they change their name to The White Keys? It’s doubtful since my puns are terrible, but the pairing is definitely fitting with the definitive cool that Bond, James Bond brings to the table. The song is called, “Another Way to Die” so it could be as educational as it is harmonic. I imagine we’ll get to check it out before the movie comes out, but if not, we’ll be hearing it as the title credits roll on November 7th.
