President Tom Cruise to Overthrow Secret Government

If that headline doesn’t just scream “AWESOME” you’re a bit unfamiliar with what the definition of the word “awesome” is. News comes today that Tom Cruise will star as President Ben Cahill in the upcoming film 28th Amendment from director Phillip Noyce.

The plot revolves around a young US President (Cruise) who discovers that America is actually being ruled by a secret cabal lead by Denzel Washington, who makes a habit of eliminating any threat to the Secret Government. Conspiracy nuts rejoice as this is the mack daddy of American conspiracy theories, one that has been around since pretty much America’s birth, with rumors of Free Masons and the like.

Sounds pretty cool to me.
