Frank’s middle name is Buff. Seriously. He doesn’t look like Qualls. He looks like the kid from Gummo.
He is a very talented director. It’s good to see him doing a feature.

What about commercial directors being given movies? Eh? I’m looking at you, Michael Bay.

Full disclosure – I worked with Frank Borin and co. on two music videos, but I can say that he’s got a really good eye for visuals and good style, bias aside. Seeing the types of music videos he’s made – Bowling for Soup and Good Charlotte especially – horror/comedy is probably a really solid route for him to take.

Well, I love horror films, and will most likely see this one as well. However I’m tired of music video directors getting behind the cameras of films. It usually ends in a load of garbage (Baz Luhrmann’s films).

Hopefully this one will be the one that proves to be different.
