Photo: Get a Better Look at The Incredible Hulk

Is it just me, or is next summer’s The Incredible Hulk getting lost in the mix? At Comic-Con this year, it seemed like this new Hulk and Iron Man were going to be a perfect one-two punch from Marvel Studios. And while we’ve seen a badass trailer for Iron Man, we are still sitting around with our thumbs up our — well, you get the point — waiting for anything Hulk related. This week, our appetite has been temporarily curbed with the release of a full-body still of the big green dude all Hulked out. Take a look below:

While I can say that I am not opposed to this new Hulk, I don’t know if I am impressed. Similar to my feelings about the Heath Ledger Joker affair, I will need to see him in action. I do have faith in Marvel Studios, lead by President Kevin Feige — they seem to have their heads on straight. So at least for now, I am digging this new Hulk. I would like to see a trailer, though. Are you listening Universal?

The Incredible Hulk hits theaters June 13, 2008. It stars Edward Norton, Liv Tyler and Tim Roth and is being directed by The Transporter’s Louis Leterrier.

Is that really a still? Looks like concept art. And while the first film wasn't as bad as everyone seems to think (aside from the ridiculous ending) I'm not really all that excited about this new one. Even as fantastic as The Transporter was...

I very much enjoyed the first one. I thought it was nice having some more cerebral and dramatic character elements mixed in with the action. In fact, the first one is about the only super hero movie of recent years that I have been at all impressed with.

I'm not holding my breath for this Hulk, and as much as I like Iron Man, I'm not going to get my hopes up (nice though the trailer seemed to be).
