20th Century Fox has released one more poster for James Cameron’s upcoming film Avatar (perhaps you’ve heard of it). This one is yet another blue and orange tinted one-sheet (a trend explored by our friends at Slashfilm not too long ago) that features Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, right next to his Na’vi friend Neytiri (Zoe Saldana).

The poster itself is simple, calling out the fact that the film is set in the vast, fantastic world of Pandora and giving the film both a human and alien face. As well, there’s special note to IMAX 3D at the bottom. As you might expect, there’s a lot of push behind the IMAX and 3D (and combined) platforms, as Cameron has essentially made this film for the more advanced projection systems.

As well, we’re once again reminded that James Cameron directed a few really great movies way-back-when. And there’s nothing wrong with that. It reminds us to have a little faith in the Dances with Smurfs premise and trust in Cameron, right?

Avatar is in theaters December 18, 2009.
