My love for the Michael Bay film Transformers is, to say the least, well documented. So you can imagine that I almost caused our car, traveling quickly away from Austin (where SXSW has just ended) to nearly careen off the road into a highway divider when I saw these wicked cool Transformers Zippo Lighters. “Holy Shit! Brian, check this out!” — that’s what was said, I believe. One of the coolest pieces of Transformers memorabilia that I have seen thus far, that’s for sure. Don’t believe me? According to the hosting site, only 300 of these bad boys will be made and — here comes the bad news — they will only be distributed in Japan. It makes me think that we should have been nicer to the Japanese over the years…
