Officially Cool: The Making of The Goonies
Movie News By Neil Miller on August 25, 2009 | (2) Comments
The folks over at UniqueDaily never say die, and neither do we. So it seems fitting that they posted this very cool behind the scenes video from the set of The Goonies. It begins with a young Steven Spielberg claiming that “nothing extraordinary happens in this film,” and moves quickly to director Richard Donner talking about how working with kids makes him want to commit suicide. I’m sure neither of them are serious. At least, we do know that (a) extraordinary things happen in The Goonies and (b) Richard Donner is still alive, so I call bullshit.
Alas, you should really check out the video below — especially if you’re a total nerd like me who has a Goonies poster mere feet from your desk, where you work daily. It’s a great video, providing insight behind a classic film. Why would you miss that?
