Officially Cool: The Invincible Iron Man Fan Film
Posted by Neil Miller (neil@filmschoolrejects.com) on January 9, 2008
My good friend Vic over at Screenrant just sent over word that they have posted an Exclusive Fan Film created by artist David Guivant. The piece is called The Invincible Iron Man, and it features not only the invincible one himself, but many other characters from within the Iron Man universe. It plays out more like a trailer for something bigger, but is entertaining nonetheless.
I must say as well, that for a “fan film”, this is one hell of an effort. Usually fan films turn out more like the Star Wars kid and less like an actual film. This little gem features some impressive special effects and is very polished. Kudos to David Guivant for not only putting together a fine fan film, but also for being so true to the Iron Man lore.
The clip is certainly worth a look and only runs about 2 minutes, so you won’t be wasting your time. Check it out over at Screenrant.

Nicely compose, entertaining indeed. The setting looks like the PC game Command & Conquer video clips and the whole thing looks more like a video game than a movie. Nicholas Fury first glance is very similar to Kurt Russell.

Cool, i’ts interesting to see the imagination and creativity independent film makers have. In some ways, their films boast a higher level of creativity and imagination that I wish we would see in the big budget productions.
