Nothing says cool like the moment when all of your childhood fantasies come true and you make a bid on eBay for a real life Peterbilt untransformed Optimus Prime replica, complete with the blue and red flame paint job, tons of chrome, a 17-inch entertainment system in the back upon which you can watch Transformers on DVD and even a set of Transformers bed sheets. Then it dawns on you; you don’t have the $50k to buy the truck. Also, what the hell are you going to do with a semi anyway? You live in the suburbs. Either way, the item above has hit eBay’s Canadian site and it is up for sale, complete with a Transformers logo on the steering wheel. And while I have been accused of being one of the biggest Transformers geeks on the face of the planet (I literally have a shirt that says “I Love Michael Bay”), I don’t quite have the resolve to pony up the cash for a real-life Optimus.
