I have been secretly crushing on Jason Reitman’s latest film ever since my good friend Peter at /Film started gushing all over it after a viewing in Toronto last week. On top of the fact that Reitman’s last film, Thank You for Smoking was one of my favorite films of the last few years, Juno sports what I believe to be an even better cast. It stars Ellen Page (Hard Candy) as a girl who gets pregnant after her first role in the hay with a classmate, played by Michael Cera (Superbad). She then decides to give the baby up to a nice young couple (Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner), but soon realizes that there is a little more to being pregnant, and being young than she originally thought.

Peter has already called this one “this year’s Little Miss Sunshine“, and if I do recall correctly, that was my favorite movie of last year. Needless to say I can’t wait for Juno to release. So at least for now there is a trailer, which you can view below. (Courtesy of /Film)

Juno is being distributed by Fox Searchlight and is set for limited release on December 14. It also stars J.K. Simmons, Alison Janney and Rainn Wilson.
