Official Fantastic Fest 2009 Trailer Will Blow Your Face Off
Fantastic Fest By Neil Miller on September 14, 2009 | (4) Comments
Here in Austin, the anticipation is high — everyone is talking, talking about movies. Not just any movies, but the sweet selection of genre, foreign and otherwise badass films that will be hitting the screens of the Alamo Drafthouse later this month when Fantastic Fest 5 gets under way. It’s the cinematic event of the fall — at least, here in America.
The folks behind the fest — showman Tim League and his crew — have opened up the official Fantastic Fest YouTube channel today and published the festival’s official trailer. On their channel page, you can check out trailers for all of the movies playing the fest, including Jared Hess’ Gentlemen Broncos, the horror sequel REC 2, Nicholas Winding Refn’s in-your-face drama Bronson and the dark vampire thriller Daybreakers, among others. This will be very useful for those of you out there who are currently working through your schedules — plenty of trailery goodness to throw wrenches in your plans.
For those who haven’t started, you can plan your schedule over on the B-Side Fantastic Fest site. For more trailers like the one below, check out the Fantastic Fest YouTube channel.
For more Fantastic Fest coverage, keep it locked right here, as our Festival Death Squad will be bringing you all the best, live from Austin, Texas.
