I didnt give not 1 shit about this movie before but this trailer is pretty nice. Alittle cartoonish but if I saw more than 2 mins of it I could get passed that.

Yes, it looks good, sort of. I just kept thinking I would like it better, since I was looking forward to it. It looks just like one big cartoon, I'm not impressed. How is this changing cinema? Way to much hype, over hype. I laughed out loud at the blue aliens, are we supposed to take them seriously. I'm sad, I won't spend ten dollers to see this at the theater. Granted, it's gonna make alot of money, especially when it's out on dvd with extended cuts, special editions. It should make back some of the money spent on it, but not all. I have a feeling this will do lower than the studios expectations. I can't believe this was the trailer they put out, flying blue aliens, good lord. This might be like Watchmen all over again.

Avatar trailer is sick as hell! Can't wait to see the completed film. I can't understand why there's so many haters saying they're not impressed by what they see. What do they expect? Guess you can't please anybody.

Looks good.
But it's awfully reminding of some comics written a good while (30 years ?) ago.
check: aquablue (the "local species" vs "bad military invadors" bit)
and visually, all the e.t. from the French author Caza.

Oh sure, visually nice, and who are we to downplay such an astounding amount of work ...
Revolutionnary ? I don't see how. This movie follows the typical blockbuster way.
Big tease and buildup, huge crowds, DVD release one year later.

You can see it from the reactions. not that enthusiastic. Matrix did the digital revolution already.

Thanks a LOT for giving us the first look at the Avatar Trailer. This website is the best to get any info relating to movies in the most easiest way possible :)

I have downloaded the HD trailer and watched it three times, but maybe based on the comments from the people who watched Avatar preview at Comic Con, I had my expectations too high. I am not saying I don't like the trailer but it just wasn't as great as I expected it to be.

Also, I would've liked a little more dialogue in the trailer than just a bunch of scenes picked randomly from all over the movie. Anyways, this is just the first trailer so I guess we will get to see more of this.

I will be watching the 16 minute preview tomorrow in IMAX 3D. Hopefully atleast that will be as good as I am expecting it to be. Wathching something on IMAX screen in 3D is not the same as watching even a HD 2D trailer on the little monitor.

Looks like a video game to me… not impressed. I would be impressed if this movie does well in theaters tho, nobody wants to watch that animated/real life bullshit.

This looks like nothing but style over substance. The CGI for the blue aliens looks like ass. If the next trailer doesn't grab my attention, I'm not wasting money seeing it.

You are right. I should’ve added more content to my post beforehand and that’s my bad. I’m not a chronic self-promoter so it’s not something I have perfected. In the future I’ll be more objectionable about when/where I do it, consider it a brief moment of inconsideration on my part and hopefully not held against me.

Maybe my expectations we're a little high but it looks like the Smurfs doing Minority Report. I'll still see it but I'm not as excited as I used to be.
