Observe and Report Featurette Exposes Itself
Movie News By Neil Miller on March 13, 2009 | (2) Comments
Prepare to be introduced to the employees that work in the Forrest Ridge Mall, the characters at the heart of the upcoming Warner Bros. comedy Observe and Report. In the following featurette, which debuted over on MySpace, we get a much closer look at some of the humor at work in Jody Hill’s (The Foot Fist Way) sophomore effort. In the film, Seth Rogen plays the head of mall security investigating a terrible serial flasher situation in an attempt to woo over a chesty, dizzy make-up counter hottie played by Anna Faris. The film has a definite Waiting vibe to it and a darkness that seems to be sitting just below the surface — this combination is what landed it on our 15 Films You Absolutely Must See at SXSW 2009.
Which reminds me — Observe and Report is making its debut here in Austin at the SXSW Film Festival. It hits theaters nationwide on April 10th. For more awesome coverage, including interviews with some of the cast, keep an eye on our SXSW ’09 homepage.
