yeah this movie is gonna be awesome. Rain seems pretty cool plus Sho Kosugi is in it. the choreography is sick and i dont expect there to be any quick cuts or shakey cam like some people seem to think. the Wachowski bros like you to be able to see the action so im expecting something more akin to the 300. hopefully the movie will be out in a few months because i cant friggin wait.

i can only hope when a ninja slices me open it will sound like somebody biting into a delicious, crunchy apple. that being said, i'm down to drink this in to take the putrid Ninja Assassin taste out my mouth.

From what I've read Stallone hopes to make The Expendables into a franchise of sorts, allowing guys like Van Damme, Kurt Russell, and apparently Scott Adkins a chance to be in the series.

This is really odd timing for this news to show up. I was just on IMDB looking up a film that I just watched called "US Seals 2", which was directed by this director in 2001. US Seals 2 is effectively some backstory which segues into an action film that is pretty much just one huge, nonstop fight sequence. They pause long enough to have a dramatic death speech now and then, but I'd say that about 90% of the last hour of the film is pure hand-to-hand combat with knives, swords, chains, etc. The director is Isaac Florentine, who apparently also did a bunch of Power Rangers episodes, but also writes, does stunt choreography and is himself supposed to be a pretty bad-ass martial artist. Sounds like the exact sort of guy you'd want directing a ninja movie. I can't wait to see this flick.

That's already better than any 2 minute montage one could create from the best sequences of Ninja Assassin.
