‘Wolverine’ May Be in Trouble

You’d think that with all the movies being delayed over this WGA strike, that the others would be getting away with plain sailing in comparison, yet for X-Men Origins: Wolverine this is not the case. Though the movie was all set to start shooting in Australia by the end of the year, according to Cinema Blend there are slight space issues stopping this. Baz Luhrman’s new epic, Australia is also shooting down under, and has hogged all the stages in 20th Century Fox’s Sydney studios, leaving Wolverine with nowhere to shoot! In response to this story, Fox issued a statement saying:
Is it me, or does this seem like Wolverine will barrel on, whether the stages are busy or not? I’d say there’ll be a lot of round the clock shooting, alternating one movie with another and trying to get them all done as soon as possible. Hugh Jackman may be working double time come January, what with his involvement in both, so let’s hope he doesn’t collapse from exhaustion in the heat!
