New Wanted Red Band Trailer Smells Like Bullets

When it comes to a movie like Wanted, I say let the bullets fly and let the scantily clad, hooker-looking Angelina Jolie waltz around in the nude. As well, I am all for the physics-defying stunts and tricks that are sure to be all over this film. Having read the graphic novel, I can say that if director Timur Bekmambetov is as faithful to Mark Millar’s book as he said he is going to be, we are in for one wild ride.
As further proof of the above statement, I would like to present the brand new red band trailer, which was released via iTunes (where it can also be viewed in glorious HD) today…
Wanted stars James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman and Terence Stamp. It hits theaters on June 27th.

Best trailer yet, though it gives away one seemingly major death, and too much bullet bending. Still don’t like that aspect.

I still say some of the effects just look bad, but I gotta admit this trailer was quite a bit more entertaining than everything I’ve seen before. Color me slightly more interested…

Nothing new here. Wanted still looks like it’s trying to be flashy and cool. Anime fans might like it. I still think it’s a product placement for Angelina Jolie’s tattoos. The bullet-bending scene is too unbelievable with no explanation. The trailers’ are still hiding too much of the plot to interest me.

I guess I should have said fans of the Matrix. The plot, especially of what I’ve read of the original comic, sounds like that movie. There’s also the focus on fashion(mostly Angelina looking cool killing fools), guns and special effects. I’ll try and stay open-minded. Angelina Jolie single-handedly held up Tomb Raider 2, so watching her blow stuff up might be worth it. I must avoid her siren call. I must.

Ok I will go and see this but I have to say that unless they come up with some mutant power or magnetic bullets that have mini guidance controls, YOU CAN’T CURVE A BULLITTS TRAJECTORY NO MATTER HOW GOOD A SHOT YOU ARE!!!
