New ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ Trailer Makes Out With… Everyone

Normally, the pace of work here at FSR HQ is a speed unlike anything you will see anywhere else in the world. We are an efficient, productive, well-oiled machine of awesomeness. We can, in fact make the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs if we try. Today, however, all work has stopped in the wake of one trailer. We have, to be completely honest, had to run through the entire new trailer for Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona a total of 17 times before we could even get to writing this article. It has us that captivated.
So without further ado, because we know how much our readers despise “ado”, please enjoy the new Vicky Cristina Barcelona trailer below:
As you can see, Javier Bardem plays an artist living out every man’s vision of “the good life” as he seduces two fine American women (Scarlett Johansson and Rebecca Hall) who are vacationing in Barcelona. He comes right out and mentions that he would like to make love to both of them, at the same time. This has us all questioning years of failed approaches — should we just be honest with random hot women? Then again, none of us look like Javier Bardem, so we are not really ready to test the theory.
There really isn’t much else to be said about this trailer, other than the fact that if The Weinstein Company is trying to sell this to the less-fair sex, they are doing a hell of a job.
Speaking of The Weinstein Company, they also sent over a brand new poster for the film this afternoon, which can be seen below. Vicky Cristina Barcelona is scheduled to begin its limited release on September 5, 2008. The trailer can be seen in high definition over at Yahoo Movies.
