The song reminds me of how I felt with High Tension (Haute Tension/Switchblade Romance, whatever you want to call it) where they played the Sonic Youth cover of the Carpenter's Superstar. I felt awesome.

Its ok to be excited for this remake – the original Last House didn't age well at all. Sure, the concept is great and at the time it was shocking, but the way it was filmed and the kills were downright pedestrian compared to what we get today.

You know what was really messed up about that scene? She performs oral sex on the guy for like 5 minutes before biting his dick off. Completely unnecessary on her part, so I guess maybe she loves her husband more in this remake, as she doesn't seem to be giving head to rapists.

I don't know. Movies get away with a lot of shit these days: bathing in blood in Hostel 2, a face full of feces in Zack and Miri Make a Porno, setting a man on fire while his daughter is simultaneously raped in The Hills Have Eyes remake…I wouldn't count your chickens till your eggs hatch.
