I tried watching the first one. I walked out of the theater after seeing Michael knifing his sister. The violence was too much. Normally I don't mind a lot of violence. Maybe it was because it was a kid doing it?

I love the original films sans number 3. I'll stick to those. I can only hope that in 15-20 years a proper remake will be made.

I think the trailer looks like a lovely sequil. People hated House of a thousand corpses but loved The Devils Rejects. I think that Rob Zombie might be one of those directors that makes better sequils then individual films also with the first Rob Zombie Hallloween some of the deleated scenes where better then the stuff in the movie. I think that it was foolish of Rob Zombie to try and recreate a horror franchise and relaunch Halloween. It was hard to watch Halloween 2007 becouse it was such a scattered mess. This film looks a whole lot better

Michael looks like he'd rather wash the windshields of Haddonfield residents than stab 'em, doesn't it? I guess the series can't go anywhere but up after the equvilant of cancer first film, but to what capacity? Shit plus one is still shit, isn't it? Plus the mash up of Halloween and the Living Dead Girl music video doesn't really fill me with hope.

Zombie really needs to change his tune. The white trash nonsense is getting old.
