New Trailer For ‘Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl’ Brings The Crimson Showers

Tokyo Gore Police is one of my favorite Japanese movies of recent years (review here), and I’m giddy with anticipation for the promised sequel. In the meantime, director and sfx maestro Yoshihiro Nishimura has been lending his wet and prestigious talents towards a new endeavor that forgoes science fiction and social commentary for pure gristle and mayhem. Check out the trailer for the subtly and smoothly named Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl. (courtesy of Twitch)
Occasional cheapness and terrible fight choreography aside, this movie looks like pure heaven. A sticky, messy, violent, and viscera-filled heaven to be sure, but still… It definitely has a TGP vibe to it, from the massive arterial sprays to the synth score to the dangerously sexy Eihi Shiina (Audition). No release date has been announced yet for the film, but rest assured, I’ll be knee deep in Japanese fluids as soon as it is.
What do you think of the trailer? Did you see Tokyo Gore Police?
