New Terminator Salvation Photo Shows the Factory of Death

Posted by Neil Miller (neil@filmschoolrejects.com) on December 10, 2008

Earlier today we lit up your world with the theatrical trailer for Terminator Salvation, and now thanks to The LA Times’ Hero Complex blog we have another first look image from the film.

As Hero Complex author Geoff Boucher explains, there is a growing optimism around this fan from those of us in the fan and journo communities. The reason for this is that there continue to be great things coming out of set visits, footage presentations and of course, the trailers that we’re all seeing together. It is also hard to deny the fact that Christian Bale’s presence on this project gives it another level of credibility, and McG has shown us hints of promise in between all of the other junk he’s made. The scene above is Bale as John Connor of 2018, discovering some sort of Terminator assembly plant. We can all imagine what happens next.

Terminator Salvation is in theaters on May 22, 2009.

  • Fingers crossed that this will be as good as the previews.
  • I think we all have our fingers crossed. McG needs to learn from his mistakes and that is making the silly version of Charlie's Angels I would like him to make sure that the feel of the movie can be as good as the T2.

For as the pic above, umm...are we going to see T800 dingdongs or even T800 Boobs in this movie? Can we have this movie rated R at least? Do it same as AVP & AVPR.

I think I was one of the only people championing McG since the announcement he was directing...while Charlie's Angels are goofy action flicks that was basically eye candy with no story...with Terminator Salvation we get eye candy along with the talented writing from Paul Haggis, Jonathan Nolan and Shawn Rayn (The Unit , The Shield)....I love James Cameron but he's not only a director he's also a great writer...something McG is not so I could see why people were attacking him in the beginning...everything from the art direction, the writing, costumes and cinematography seems to be up to par... I think we can all breathe a sigh of relief this isn't another Terminator 3....I'm looking forward to Salvation, and hope that we get to see another two of these....
  • I think we already saw a T800 dingdong in the Transformers 2 concept art ... http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/news/new-transfo...

This photo of the terminator factory reminds me of the one shown in a teaser for T2 a long time ago. The one where they showed Arnold being built.

I always figured the factory where they create T-800's would be more high tech looking than than this.
Does Skynet use the homemade time machine in Primer??? Wtf???
