New Terminator Pics Offer Fans Small Dose of Salvation

Terminator Salvation

The Terminator Salvation teaser got my Skynet-loving hopes up. A few additional pics offer a brief glimpse into the future of John Connor.

High fives all around to Cinema Blend for showing us these three pics of the next Terminator chapter. Arnold Schwarzenegger won’t be making an appearance but that doesn’t mean the world can’t be bright. Or maybe that’s why the future is so F’ed up. For all we know the next film could center around the outlook of America if the Governator became President. It could happen, don’t laugh. Either way, there’s no time like the present to check out the future of Terminator Salvation. Check out the helicopters burning, the soldier who could maybe be a stand-in for Shia LaBeouf, and a truck straight out of Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.

Are you pumped about Terminator: Salvation? What do you think the future of John Connor will be?

In my book, the Terminator trilogy is right up there with BttF, the original SW, Indiana Jones, etc. The first two are classics, and while the third one is a prettier, soulless rehash of its predecessor, being a rehash of one of the greatest films ever made isn't too bad and it was a great film to end Arnold's blockbuster career. I look forward to Terminator Salvation, but WTF @ Charlie's Angels director. I just hope they don't fuck up :/

I'm looking forward to this, but am not expecting anything great.
I wouldn't be suprised if after this film they start work on an AliensVSPredatorVSTerminator movie.

    What is BttF?

And Arnold actually can't become president, he is a foreigner. I'm not even from your country and I know that.

As for the movie, I will wait and see, McG being the director really sucks, but Bale usually has a good sense of what roles to take so hopefully he sees something in McG that hasn't been shown in his previous works
  • If it's good, it's because of Christian Bale. If it sucks, McG messed it up.

If they turn Connor into a Cyborg the films gonna tank.
I dig this post but the photos are pretty meh.

@Miaden - There is a Terminator vs Alien Comic, and I'd imagine there is a Terminator vs Predator Vs Alien Comic as well.
  • Mladen
Nish, Yeah, I've seen the comic, as well as Tarzan vs Predator and half a dozen others that make even less sense... I think they could milk this 'vs' concept for all its worth...
  • 790
I've never seen the Terminator vs Alien comic, are you sure on that????

There's been the Terminator vs RoboCop series but I don't remember no aliens.

And sure they can milk it but, it would be garbage.
You can only go so far breaking Terminator canon before the fans bail...
