Warner Bros. has revealed a new logo for Man of Steel, the Zack Snyder directed next chapter in the ongoing saga of Superman. It was posted this afternoon to the film’s official Facebook page as the page’s new cover image. Led by Immortals star Henry Cavill as Superman, Russell Crowe as Jor-El and Michael Shannon as General Zod, this new Superman tale is said to be a bit darker, a bit grungier than the grand gloss presented in Bryan Singer’s 2006 film Superman Returns. It’s hard to say anything beyond that, as Warner Bros. is keeping a tight marketing lid on the June 14, 2013 release up to this point. But with The Dark Knight Rises heading to theaters in July, it stands to reason that a trailer can’t be that far off. Until then, lets talk about this logo…
