Universal Studios has unleashed posters for two of their 2009 tentpoles, the Will Ferrell led adaptation of Land of the Lost and the fourquel known as Fast and Furious. The Land of the Lost poster, which debuted over on Cinematical, features Will Ferrell, Danny McBride, Anna Friel and a dinosaur — awesome. The Fast and Furious poster, which made its debut on MTV Movies Blog, features a group of actors who used to so totally be hot. They are not really hot anymore, however.

Check out both posters (and click to enlarge) below. Fast and Furious hits theaters on April 3, 2009; Land of the Lost drops on June 5, 2009.

That Land of the Lost poster looks cool.

I'm confused by the title of the new Fast and the Furious movie... They took out the word 'the'? Am I missing the pun in "Fast and Furious"? Is it pronounced Fourious?
  • No, it's Furious. It kinda does sound stupid taking of 'the' portion I thought they could've done something better like 'Faster and Very Furious'. I'm upset of why having Will ferell is doing the Land of The Lost remake that man needs to find a new job.
  • Ferrell is not a big draw for me. I would rather they had done Land of the Lost as a serious movie and not a throw away comedy like most of Wills movies.

On the other hand I want to see the new Fast and Furious, always liked the first one.

Can this be considered a reprisal role for Ferrell? After all, he already played Marshal Willenholly on "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back"...
