In keeping with the yearly tradition of releasing Fall Movie Preview materials, the folks at Paramount have released several new hi-res images from Jason Reitman’s upcoming film, Up in the Air. The new photos primarily feature George Clooney and Twilight alum Anna Kendrick. There isn’t a ton here that you might not have seen somewhere else (though in fairness, ours are better because they are sans-watermark), but it is worth a look. I couldn’t be more excited to see Jason Reitman get into the director’s chair once again, as I was quite publically a fan of Juno and even moreso a fan of Thank You For Smoking. The film’s official synopsis and new photoset are below for your review.

From Jason Reitman, the Oscar® nominated director of “Juno,” comes a dramatic comedy called “Up in the Air” starring Oscar® winner George Clooney as Ryan Bingham, a corporate downsizing expert whose cherished life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles and after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams. Up in the Air will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, before it hits theaters in December 2009.
