The beginning of this trailer reminded my of a wonderful short story by George R.R. Martin, The Second Kind of Loneliness. It seemed to derail a bit… but I wonder if there is any connection?

I got to see this at a screening Duncan Jones did at Johnson Space Center in Houston. It's not really like Sphere that much. It was amazing. And seeing it on an IMAX screen wasn't bad.

This Twilight sequel is looking good! They must've gotten my letter saying that the romance was contrived, the vampires were sissy, and the lead role was a terrible example for women. Turning it into a story of science fiction isolation and putting on the actual moon seems promising. I wonder how Stephenie Meyer will respond to these artistic changes of her initial vision.
