New Iron Man Photos Hit the Web!

Earlier this evening we brought you the Iron Man Super Bowl TV Spot. Now, thanks to our friends at /Film, we have 13 brand new photos from Jon Favreau’s upcoming Summer blockbuster for your viewing pleasure. Take a look at Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges and Leslie Bibb in action below. Iron Man hits theaters on May 2, 2008 (and if you haven’t yet, I would recommend marking that on your calendars.)

honestly iron man looks like a daredevil or hell boy type comic book movie. what im trying to say is it looks horrible. whats the hype? i’d rather blow a nutt

We should encourage the industry to make more movies that we would like to see. I’m going to PAY to see this movie in theaters because that only helps future investors notice what we desire — and will cause them to pump more cash into the tech of developing them. So I say : kudos, Iron man, I look forward to your arrival.

Wow, you really didn’t like Hellboy? You’re one of the only people I’ve heard say that. I thought it was definitely one of the best comic book type films. I think it’s much beter than the X-Men or Spiderman films.
I’ll see this just to see it, but there’s no way it can be as horrible as that last Hulk movie.

Cool, but the movie isn’t really a blockbuster yet, and summer doesn’t start until the solstice in June.

It may not be a blockbuster … yet. However I don’t doubt it’s going to be a favorite of many.

As keen as this film looks, and I am sure it will be like going to the county fair and meeting a very beautiful brunette with flowing curls and the fairest of skins and that cute country twang to her soft voice. This movie will be decades away from the Citizen Kane of comic book movies that will be in cinemas on July 18th. i.e. The Dark Knight, which will be like going to a hot night club and meeting a very very bond-type looking woman/fem fatal who will not only steal your heart she’ll steal your soul and keep it as a trophy kept high on her mantel and when others see it they will ask about it and she will merely scoff as she says “It belonged to the fool that underestimated me…” so again Iron Man (**** 1/2 stars) The Dark Knight (******** stars)
