Alright, after this I promise that I don’t intend to write any more about the Quentin Tarantino directed Nazi-killin’ movie Inglourious Basterds any more today. I already exhausted some 900+ words in a recap of all the Cannes Buzz a little while ago, and I believe these three video clips to be the last remaining Basterds news of the day.

In the clips below you will see a short look into the life of Hans Landa, played by Christoph Waltz. He is by all signs the film’s villain, a ruthless Nazi Colonel who kills the entire family of our main heroine Shosanna Dreyfus, played by Mélanie Laurent. In the last two videos we get a little bit more of the swagger portrayed by Brad Pitt as Lt. Also Raine. Have a look for yourself.

Inglourious Basterds is in theaters August 21, 2009.

  • Hmm, ok. Not very note worthy.

Yeah I've gotta say, these are pretty weird. They're just random scenes taken from the film. No incredible performances, no key insights or moments. There's nothing to get excited about here.
  • Clip 1: Ugh. What horrible line delivery. My God that's awful.
    Clip 2: Nothing interesting.
Clip 3: Diane Kruger is looking as sexy as ever. Too bad the audio is screwed up.

you guys need to stop whining

    period
  • The whining will commence because a large amount of people seem to think that Tarantino is a genius when it comes to filmmaking.

i thought i was the only one who thought he was astonishingly overrated... glad to know im not alone
  • He has fans?? What a dick....
  • Clearly I said he's a dick because he has fans. Give me a break. A lot of his fans hold him in this absurdly high regard, and because of that, I will scrutinize his films more.
  • That looks fantastic.
The first clip is so exciting just on its own, I cannot wait another minute!

It looks like the screenplay I read for this was authentic. Not much else to see.
