New Images from Vin Diesel’s Babylon AD Emerge
Movie News By Neil Miller on June 13, 2008 | (25) Comments
Our good friend Marcel from DVD-Forum.at, a site that we would read much more often if it were in English, dropped us a note this afternoon to inform us of some new pictures they have posted from the upcoming post-apocalyptic thriller Babylon AD, which stars Vin Diesel as a mercenary who takes a job trafficking a woman from Russia to China. What he doesn’t know is that she is host to an organism that a cult wants to harvest in order to produce a genetically modified Messiah.
Now, I am not sure about genetic engineering and I have long been very lukewarm to the acting of Vin Diesel, but the most recent trailer for this film was pretty solid. As well, if French actress Mélanie Thierry (pictured below) is the one carrying the cure, then I will surely have the sickness — to be crass, she can be my genetically engineered Messiah any day.
To see more of the photos (some of which are new and some of which are not), just click the image below to head over to DVD-Forum. Babylon AD hits theaters on August 29, 2008.
