It is becoming increasingly difficult for me to find adjectives that will describe the level of badass that Hellboy II: The Golden Army could achieve. Everything we’ve seen from this project, from the first Hellboy II trailer to the most recent Hellboy II poster, it has all been awesome. On top of that, with his most recent film Pan’s Labyrinth, director Guillermo Del Toro really solidified his arthouse and mainstream cred, leaving his passion project Hellboy to reap the benefits of his newfound fame. It is no wonder that this movie is right up there on our 15 Must See Movies of Summer list.
The character banners featured above are of all the good guys in the film, including (from left to right) Ron Perlman as Hellboy, Selma Blair as Liz Sherman and Doug Jones as Abe Sapien. If you give the banner a click, you will be taken over to Empire, who also has rounded up higher resolution versions of these three, as well as two other banners that show off the bad guys of the film, Luke Goss as Prince Nuada and Doug Jones (again) as The Angel of Death. In fact, it is worthwhile to note that Doug Jones also plays a character known as The Chamberlain, bringing his total to 3. Hopefully he got 3 paychecks for all that hard work.
I would encourage you to check out the banners via the link above. I would also encourage you to keep checking back for more updates on Hellboy II: The Golden Army.
