New Harry Potter Photos Show Voldemort as a Little Tike
First Look By Neil Miller on July 29, 2008 | (10) Comments
The USA Today has posted two new images and a report about the upcoming trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which is said to be hitting the web sometime today. They also mentioned that the trailer will be running in theaters this Friday in front of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.
The big draw of the trailer should be the revealing of Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, who plays young Tom Riddle. Fans of the books will not that Tom Riddle grows up to become vicious baddy, Lord Voldemort. Young Hero is the nephew of Ralph Fiennes, who plays the much older, much scarier version of Voldemort in the series. As director David Yates described him, “Not only does he bear a resemblance to the grown-up Voldemort, but he also has the requisite intensity.”
To read the full report, head over to USA Today. To see two new screencaps from the trailer, including one of young Hero as little Voldemort and one of Michael Gambon as Dumbledore, just scroll down.
