Which is why WB delayed the release – at the time, they didn't have a summer blockbuster. And yes it hacked off many of us, I hadn't heard about a boycott but it doesn't surprise me. OOTP was the longest book of the series, but the shortest movie so far. Crossing my fingers 'til they bleed that it's not a trend. I'm desperately trying to not get my hopes up too high, but HBP does indeed look good. I'm just hoping we'll see the Dursleys.

Splitting Deathly Hallows… I'm torn on this issue. The producers all say it's because there was no other way to fully tell the story – which they're right, there are no irrelevant subplots – but I think we all know WB saw a way to a) keep from REALLY pissing off the fans with a chopped-to-bits story, and b) (and more importantly) make a buttload more money. Which is what it's really all about. Making Return of the King into a 3-hour movie was a definite risk, but it paid off. Unfortunately that doesn't mean it ever will again. *shrugging*

I still remember the time when thousands of people said it on the internet that they will boycott this movie because WB postponed the release date by over an year.

I am guessing the reason why WB is promoting the movie so much(more than the previous ones) is cuz they are scared that the fans might actually boycott the movie.

Ofcourse, I can easily tell that no fan of HP will miss this movie. The last movie Order of Phoenix was not great but based on so many trailers I have seen for this movie so far I think this movie will be EXCELLENT and also the best HP movie so far.

I wish Deathly Hallows was not split into two movies…they could've just made the movie 3hrs and a few minutes to fit the entire story in one movie, this way there won't be a boring moment in the entire movie. lol…but who doesn't like an extra billion dollars in their banks :P
