As someone who’s seen it (with the cancer plot) I have to say that if you really dig Star Wars, you should go see it.

Don’t let disgust for the new SW or Lucas get in the way of enjoying a really good flick with a ton of references. Plus, it has the guy from Die Hard 4! Weird that Seth Rogen wasn’t in the trailer…

Also, they deal with the possibility of Star Wars 1 sucking, which is cool. And which it did.

On the other hand, if you don’t know anything about Star Wars, you won’t understand anything about this movie.

This movie would make more sense if Star Wars turned out to ba a good film rather then the festering piece of trash it was. At this point I would root for the charcters NOT to make it to Skywalker Ranch so they are spared the pain of seeing the biggest F up put on screen in the last 20 years.
