It has been a really slow news week yes, but this should excite the adrenaline junkies among you. A new (or at least, new to us) promotional video for Crank 2: High Voltage has dropped on the web. It was sent to us by our good friend PatientZero and appears to have come from the website of Intralink, a company that does graphics for movies and trailers. As you will see below, co-writer/directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor have turned things up a notch for Chev Chelios (Jason Statham), bringing in more Asian gangsters, a plastic heart and well, a set of jumper cables with a creative application. Check out the promo video for yourself below.

Crank 2: High Voltage hits theaters April 17, 2009.

Video removed at the request of Lionsgate.

  • Does Amy Smart like having sex in public or what??
  • Anything to get her sweet plain-jane image especially her f-bomb teen flick Varsity Blues with James 'who?' Vander Beek.
  • I interviewed Amy at Fantastic Fest and I saw no sexual acts in public. Ironically enough, I interviewed her at a hotel.
  • What she didn't perform in front of you? lol
  • Adam, next time tell her you are casting for a new movie about a guy who has to have sex to stay alive and see if she will sign on for it. lol
  • I will be sure to do that next time. I did get in a Big Momma's House reference, which I think she enjoyed. So I think it all evens out in the end.
  • Whoa whoa whoa wait a minute did I just saw Bai Ling and Corey Heim?
  • Chris
I was surprised on how much I dug the first one, so I guess a return trip (even though that film's ending kinda seemed... well... final) doesn't sound so bad.
  • If anything this is going to be a fun popcorn flick...now that we've seen the Crank 2 footage, bring on the Game trailer...
  • I can say it looks like one of those Cantonese/Mandarin movies. Although the idea of playing this in a videogame console will be good to play. Funny cuz it looks like Grand Theft Auto but need to juice up your adrenaline then F@#k some girls and shot people and kick some asian asses.
