Sex sells. Deal with it. As long as the actual actor isnt really a kid they can probably get away with it. Buffy was pretty sexual. Not to mention her character actually was a kid when she had sex with Angel who in mortal years was in his 20s and she was like 16?

I believe most people in the US equate of age as more then just your brains. This can be seen in the country's laws.

Yes, she is supposed to be in High school in the series, but her character is far from innocent. Her father invented full immersion virtual reality, & it's clear from the first scene of the pilot what that means. If you haven't watched it, take what you know of the internet & use your imagination. In the pilot, Zoe is planning on running off on a religious quest. It's obvious that she's old enough to make life choices, & she is portrayed as VERY intelligent. Certainly she is what we would consider “of age.”

Out of all the poster ideas that were leaked a while back, the 'Zoe with apple' one was my favorite. However, I do prefer the original, less “come hither” version. Still, the poster is not the show, and if the show is good, it'll stand on its own merits. If this poster snares viewers who stay tuned because of that, then it's done its job.

Hmmm…. looks just like the WEEDS and DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES posters from years past.

Naked girl holding fruit (or snake or whatever). Ho-hum. Not very creative if you ask me.

i have to agree that perhaps the poster is a tad too sexy for a character that is supposed to be a child. Also, it isn't really the girl that eats the apple. it's dad. perhaps something that ties into his temptation and love of his daughter in a non creepy pedophile way would have been better.
