Jerry Seinfeld is really going after his new film Bee Movie with a passion. Then again, the guy really hasn’t done much else lately. But then again, the movie looks pretty cool. It is great to see Jerry back in the saddle doing comedy again, even if it is kiddy comedy…

Let’s start with the plot summary:

“Barry B. Benson (Seinfeld), a bee who has just graduated from college, is disillusioned at his lone career choice: making honey. On a special trip outside the hive, Barry’s life is saved by Vanessa (Zellweger), a florist in New York City. As their relationship blossoms, he discovers humans actually eat honey, and subsequently decides to sue us.”

And now, the trailer:

And then, some photos of Jerry Seinfeld flying above some onlookers at Cannes Film Festival. The stunt followed a presentation at the Miramar Theater where DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, directors Simon J. Smith and Steve Hickner and producer Christina Steinberg hosted an exclusive presentation showcasing select scenes from the flick:
