Neeson and Fiennes Become Godlike for ‘Clash of the Titans’
Casting Couch By Cole Abaius on April 8, 2009 | (8) Comments
Oh, you’re good Warners! Very good! You noticed that I hate (and many others hate) the idea of a remake of Clash of the Titans simply because – why the hell would you remake that movie? That’s my argument. So deal with it.
But now you’ve upped the ante, thrown me for a loop, and kicked the chicken in the nuggets by announcing that Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes will be joining the cast as Zeus and Hades respectively. Despite this incredible news and fantastic casting, I will not be swayed.
I stand by my statement that movie shouldn’t be remade….and damn it it’s going to be cool to see Liam Neeson as Zeus. Damn it.
According to the Hollywood Reporting of The Hollywood Reporter, Fiennes is still in negotiations, but Neeson is locked in.
Well, played Warners. I’m warming a little bit, but it’s still going to be hard to justify doing this project even if the cast is dynamite.
What do you think? Am I being unfair? And isn’t this casting really cool?
