The last time I really thought about Neil Marshall’s upcoming apocalyptic actioner Doomsday I was sitting in Hall H of the San Deigo Convention Center, having a blast at Comic Con 2007. Since then, I have paid little attention to the project. But like most decent movies do, this one seems to just keep sneaking back up into my path. Today it is right there in front of me with a brand new trailer thanks to Yahoo! Movies. Take a look for yourself below:

You can also catch the trailer in HD over at Yahoo!

As you can see, the film looks like a cross between Road Warrior, Escape from New York and something Scottish. I’m not a huge fan of Marshall’s work, but that doesn’t mean the guy doesn’t make great films. Everyone I know who saw The Descent absolutely loved it. I will let you all decide for yourself on this one.

Talking Point: What do you think of the first Doomsday trailer?
