Must-See Trailer: International ‘Juno’ Trailer
Movie News By Neil Miller on November 30, 2007 | (8) Comments
Having finally seen Juno, Jason Reitman’s follow-up to 2005′s Thank You for Smoking, I can honestly say that being a great director could be genetic. The son of directorial great Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters, Stripes), young Jason has now scored with two fantastic comedies. This time he has given us the story of a young girl named Juno (Hard Candy‘s Ellen Page) who gets knocked up and is forced to make all of life’s toughest decisions well before her prime. And with great performances from Ellen Page (can you say Oscar Worthy? I can), J.K. Simmons, Allison Janney, Jason Bateman and Michael Cera, Juno is easily one of the best — if not the absolute best — film of the year.
The first trailer we showed you a while back (found here) showed off enough of the film for my good friend Pete at /Film to call it “this year’s Little Miss Sunshine.” After seeing the film a few times since then, I would more than agree. And after you see the trailer below, which shows off a little bit more of the films razor sharp diologue, spot-on performances and its incredible soundtrack, I would think that you would agree. Juno releases in theaters in limited release on December 5 — which oddly enough, is my birthday. Go me!
Up for Discussion: Have you seen Juno? If so, what did you think? If not, are you excited about it?
