Dear Sony Pictures Classics, make a better trailer, I honestly cannot wait to see this, what they need to do is add more music, maybe make it 2 minutes long, because if I was new to this film I would not know what exactly it was abut.

This trailer actually makes me think that the film will be really bad. I’m glad you like it so
much, but you can’t get excited about this trailer, if you’re being at all realistic. It tells us
almost nothing, looks pedestrian and has a very familiar feel (how many pot/coming of age
films have we seen?). And Sir Ben Kingsley toking up? Yeah, that will really pull in those
Gandhi/Sexy Beast demos while speaking to the kids.

For me, this has so far been a year of viewing fewer mediocre films, and The Wackness falls
straight into that category based on this trailer.

Agreed that the trailer could have been better. Its so hard to believe that that is the kid from nickelodeon! The movie sounds amazing, so i think i can look past the Olsen Twin. And i have to second rob-i’m going to see this movie because you said it was good Neil, don’t let me down!

Yeah, the trailer is incredibly weak and uninteresting… however, I’ll still be checking the movie out on the strength of your review alone. Better be good Miller!
