Movie Poster Frenzy: 10,000 BC, The Eye and Meet the Spartans

Posted by Neil Miller (neil@filmschoolrejects.com) on December 16, 2007

This week’s Movie Poster Frenzy goes out to Jessica Alba — creepy eyes and all. We heard that you were pregnant, and the only thing that we could think of that would be more horrifying would be another movie from 2 of the 6 writers of Scary Movie. Then we saw the poster for Meet the Spartans — and it was like Epic Movie all over again. Who will make it stop? Who will end the suffering for fans of good comedy?

We also get our first look at the poster for Roland Emmerich’s 10,000 B.C., which has every inkling of being a good movie — sort of like Apocalypto, but in English. Take a look for yourself below.

  • Meet the Spartans looks kind of funny. 10,000 BC looks kind of awesome, not like I expected at all.
  • I love that there's some guy making fun of Dane Cook in the poster for Meet the Spartans. It does seem that they're still at least 6 months too late with all these jokes, though.
