300 gets a standing ovation in Berlin

Last night in Berlin at the opening of the Berlin International Film Festival, Zach Snyder’s epic 300 was put on display in its world premiere. The film, which is based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller, was greeted by cheers from the crowd of over 1700. The night was capped off with the film receiving a standing ovation. In attendance were director Zach Snyder and stars Gerard Butler and Rodrigo Santoro. When asked about the reaction Snyder said, “It was awesome to be at the Berlin Film Festival World Premiere and experience the amazing reaction.”

Can you feel that? That is the excitement building around this films release! Mark your calanders people, March 9^th is going to be an exciting day! Check out some of the photos from last night’s festivities below:
